- The district shall furnish transportation to all students to
their assigned school in accordance with the transportation boundaries established by the
Board of Education. The established walking areas will generally fall into the following
radii from schools:

- Elementary - 1.25 to 1.5 miles
- Middle - 1.5 to 2.0 miles
- High School - 2.0 to 2.5 miles
- Exceptions maybe considered on a case by case basis.

- Transportation shall be furnished for shorter distances if, in
the opinion of the Superintendent or designee, extreme hardship or dangerous conditions
prevail.

- Because attendance is not required and because of the half-day
program, kindergarten students shall be eligible for school bus service only one way on a
space-available basis.
