Talent Show
Tryouts take place Wednesday the 18th
and Thursday the 19th,
from 3:50 pm until 5:30
pm. Notifications will
go out on Friday,
November 20th. All
entry forms and
backstage applications
are due next Tuesday,
November 17th.
We will have a mandatory
dress rehearsal after
school on February 2nd
(Thursday), with most
likely TWO shows on
Friday, February 3rd.
The times are still
pending.

Buzzer
System
We now have a
“buzzer” system on
the front doors.
Between the hours of
8:45 and 3:40, the
front doors will be
locked, and people
coming to the door
will ring a
doorbell. That
doorbell then rings,
and the office staff
will buzz the guests
in. This system
allows us to know
exactly who is in
the building at all
times, increasing
our level of
security for all
students, staff, and
guests.

SCIENCE FAIR NEWS:
Sabin’s 2nd
Annual Science Fair Competition is coming up soon! We have gathered the
support of various community members/businesses in the form of donations/gift
cards for the top prize winners and trophies and ribbons will be awarded
for
the top projects in each category. Participation in the competition is
voluntary, although all Sabin students are doing an individual investigation
for their science class. We hope to see a large amount of participation from
students and parents on that Saturday, and a more detailed agenda will be sent
home after Winter Break.

TAKE A TURKEY TO SCHOOL DAY
Come see some living, breathing, dancing, laughing turkeys!!!! Join Sabin in
our 2nd
annual “Take
A Turkey To School Day” Friday,
November 20th.
Bring a turkey to school and all donations will go to Care & Share Food Bank.
See your favorite administrators and counselors strutting their stuff! Last
year we collected 118 turkeys; our goal this year is 200. Look for the
turkeys in the parking lot, drive by and drop them off, have your child drop
them off; just get them here any way you can!!!

We are gearing up for more intramurals this semester!!! Indoor soccer, floor hockey and open gym for boys basketball preparation will be offered. All students should listen to announcements for upcoming dates and times.

Attention Parents:
If you need to speak with a
principal or counselor concerning an issue with your student, Sabin’s
administration would like to request that you schedule an appointment prior to
coming to the school. Having a specific time to meet with a principal or
counselor will keep you from having to wait for a long period of time and also
allow the principal/counselor to give their full attention to your concerns
without interruption. If you would like to schedule an appointment with one
of our principals (Mrs. Kalbach, Mr. McDowell, or Mrs. Schlagenhauf) please
